Transporting a timber load along with all other technical rescue tools and equipment is easily accomplished with a Hackney. This compartment features shoring panels, Finforms and 16-ft timbers ranging from 2x4’s up to 6x6’s and 2x12’s.

Whether its called a USAR or a Technical Rescue, it still has to carry a lot of heavy, bulky equipment. Moving that equipment in a single truck is difficult, if not impossible, on a conventional style rescue truck. But Hackney drop/pinch frame technology increases the storage capacity of a given wheelbase by 33%.
