Communications and Command vehicles are an essential element to well managed disasters and incident control. Hackney offers a wide variety of platforms to meet your budget and requirements.

28-ft to 30-ft models can be mounted on either a conventional or custom cab/chassis.

This 15-ft model features a slide-out two-man communications console, nine-man private conference room, galley and electronics equipment rack, all in a short manageable wheelbase and inexpensive platform.

Slide-out rooms can be equipped with communications consoles for one, two, three or four persons. Rooms are pneumatically deployed with the press of a button in under 3-seconds. Slide mechanisms do not interfere with personnel movement. Floors can be either flat or raised, depending on requirements.	Electronics equipment racks are available in all RU heights and are separately duct cooled. A galley can be added with microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator, depending on floor plan and requirements. Full restroom facilities are available with interior or exterior access.
Conference rooms include a solid-surface table with pop-up data and power panels and can use either individual swivel chairs shown or bench seats.

Built for long-term and abuse-resistant durability, all Hackney communications and command vehicles feature all-aluminum, powder-coated cabinets with full-length finger-pull latches. Counter tops and desk are 1-1/2” solid-surface polymer with smooth, rounded edges – no chipping, as associated with plastic laminate construction. Floors are Lonseal® safety grip rubber with no seams.

Don’t worry about upgrading or adding communications equipment down-the-road. Hackney has engineered wiring access around the entire perimeter, walls and even the floor to facilitate simple cable routing.

Even the environmental system is unique providing evenly distributed cooling throughout the interior with redundancy should one of the AC units fail.
