Cavernous compartments that can easily be reconfigured by adding additional shelves and slide trays. The large integral tool drawers with slotted dividers makes inventorying hand tools simple.
Space for optional light tower nested out of the way across the forward recessed roof, easily accessible for service.
Space beneath the rear staircase is utilized for placement of four DOT air storage cylinders. A transverse folding ladder or stokes basket tunnel is installed above the cylinders, leaving plenty of additional storage space for spare SCBA bottles and poly-trays for small equipment. Shown with optional SCBA cascade fill station.
Left and right side roof compartment provide a huge amount of additional roof top storage with split hinged waterproof lids and recessed LED lighting.
Even space in the wheelskirts is not wasted. Street side provides secured storage for fire extinguishers forward and two NFPA compliant wheel chocks aft of wheels. Curb side compartment provides access to a lever for controlling Speedi-Dry dispensing into buckets with extra space for flares and other small equipment.
80 lbs of Speedi-Dry can be stored in a weatherproof hopper inside the right rear roof compartment that discharges to a 5-gallon bucket beneath the body (see above photo for dispenser control). All plumbing to lower body is angled to prevent clogging.
Hackney rescues, whether heavy or light duty, all feature the largest wheelhouse storage capacity in the industry. The above compartment is 67" wide x 48" high. Competitors compartments range from a tiny 48" wide to 54" wide. It can be partitioned for specific equipment storage or merely add shelves and trays.
