Hoke County Emergency Management
has purchased a Hackney LT0964, 18-ft, 9-compartment
Class V trailer to inventory and transport their disaster
response equipment. In lieu of a conventional style
light duty trailer, they chose a Hackney due to the
roll-up door exterior access capability that permits
fast deployment and simple inventory access to all
stored equipment. The trailer features four compartments
on each side and one in the rear. The compartments
were custom sized to accommodate the specified equipment.
It also features electric brakes, a torque bar suspension
and four aluminum alloy wheels. The mirror paint finish
matches all other emergency apparatus. It also has
a heavy-duty diamond plate welded roof that provides
for a walking and working surface should be need arise.
