Lynchburg FD took delivery of their third Hackney, this one a 2010 Ford F550, 4-door cab with four-wheel drive. The rescue features a VisionPlex multiplexed electrical system and all-LED lighting. All compartments are lighted using recessed vertically mounted LED lighting that provides full compartment illumination above and below shelves and trays. A LED amber traffic advisor light bar is mounted on the rear of the body. All doors are Hackney roll-up type with recessed door tracks providing full wall-to-wall pass-thru clearance, maximizing storage capacity. All adjustable shelf tracks are also recessed into the side walls, again maximizing the width of shelves and trays. Virtually no wasted space in this body.
