Fenton Fire Department chose a 20.5-ft Hackney DFC1173R body that features 11 ground level compartments and two roof compartments maximizing storage capacity. The body is mounted on a Spartan MFD with 10” raised roof and polished aluminum wheels. The extended front bumper features a 9,000# removable winch, bumper storage compartment, air horns, speakers and Q2B siren.
A 25,000 watt PTO generator is located in the left front compartment, fully protected from Michigan’s harsh winter elements. It powers flood lights in the upper left and right side body, rear tripod flood lights, portable flood lights, Nightscan light tower, refrigerator and cord reel with 200-ft of 10/4 cable.
All NFPA warning lights, tail lights, traffic advisor light bar, clearance lights and compartment lights are LED.
Slide-out tool boards and trays facilitate a massive amount of storage space on this 20.5 ft body with 40” deep compartments. SCBA storage accompanies the Appleton fill station with 4 bank cascade in the curbside rear compartments.
