PTO powered generators are mounted inside the lower left or right front compartment behind a control panel set 10” back from the door opening. Mounting the generator inside the compartment and not beneath the body protects the components from road spray containing sodium chloride and other typical corrosive chemicals found on road surfaces that will destroy those components in a very short period of time.

Hackney’s unique method of installing the generator protects your investments and eliminates expensive repair and replacement costs. All meters and gauges are mounted on the face of the panel for easy viewing (no contorting sideways to get vital readings). The breakers on the load center are easily accessible and visible. Service access (seldom required) is accessible through a removable shelf on top of the enclosure.
